George Petree Obituary
His mother, Frances Nuzum Petree of Newton; two daughters, Clacy Petree of Los Angeles and Chloe Smith of Greenville, SC two sisters, Anne Petree Stedman of Newton and Margaret Petree Rudisill and husband David of Albemarle, NC; a brother, Andy Petree and wife Patty of Hendersonville, NC and his beloved dog, Colby survive him.
His father, Joseph Andrew Petree, Jr. preceded him in death.
A Celebration of George's life will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 21st, 2018 at First United Methodist Church in Newton with Pastor Lara "Willis" Greene officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the ceremony Wednesday, March 21st, 2018 at First United Methodist Church in Newton.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 300 North Main Ave. Newton, NC.

Still think about you often brother. Wish I could have seen ya one more time. You came by the store a month before you left us and we were supposed to catch up with dinner. I’ll never forget the camp ground and on the lake on the boat. Or racing golf carts at two different locations we worked at together lol. Really miss you bro. Hope you are hanging out with your pops up there. You are definitely gone too soon. We have it taken care of down here!!

So sorry to hear of George's passing. I was a customer of his thru his job. I will miss our conversations and race talk each week. Rest in Peace my friend. My prayers are with his children and family.
