Mary Shook Obituary
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert Lee Shook; sister, Leona Ogle; brother, Junior Arrowood and a step-sister, June Summy.
She is survived by:
2 Daughters: Cheryl Brooks and husband Johnny and Bobbi Guinn and husband Mike, both of Salisbury.
Son: Keith Shook and wife Christie of Newton
5 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren
3 Sisters: Iva Sprouse of Nebo, Lillian Morris of Shelby and Jean Williams of VA
2 Brothers: Jack Arrowood of Hickory and Arnold Arrowood of Lenoir
2 Step-sisters: Carol Weaver of Lexington and Marie Mode of Charleston
2 Half-brothers: Donald Arrowood of Stewart, VA and Jeff Arrowood of Newton
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton with Pastor Eddie Sapoch officiating.
Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory.
The family will receive friends Saturday, from 1:00- 2:15 p.m., at the funeral home, prior to the service.
