Ted Sain Obituary
Born January 17, 1936 in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Void and Ethel Sain. He was a member of Mt. Ruhama Baptist Church in Maiden. Ted retired from Central Telephone of Hickory. He enjoyed and was excellent at gardening and farming. In addition to his parents, first wife, Pat Burke Sain; second wife, Karen Williams Sain; 3 sisters, Jo Canipe, Dot Fowler and Margie Myers preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory:
Daughters: Pam Mackie and husband, Bryon of Hickory; Rita Hefner and husband, Kevin of Taylorsville
Step-Daughter: Crystal Knott of Claremont
Grandchildren: Shea Hefner; Rachel Ratledge
Step-Grandchild: Aaron Knott
4 Great Grandchildren: Aria Hefner; Ares Ratledge; Vaylon Ratledge; Nico Hefner
The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Ruhama Baptist Church in Maiden with Dr. Ed Yount officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 1:45 PM at the church.

Ted was a resident of mine and always loved talking to him. He sure does love his grandma! He´s dancing in the sky with her and will always be missed.

Ted was one of the nicest guys that I ever worked with. He never complained and was always smiling. It was my privilege to get to know Ted. Ted's daughters took such great care of their dad. Girls, please be proud of how well you looked after your dad. Ted loved his girls!!

Ted was my brother in law and former co worker in Telephony. Ted was an excellent telephone man and could climb like a squirrel! Such fond memories so he will be sorely missed.
