ARTHUR CHRISTOPHER
Mr. Arthur Christopher Purdy, 91, passed away in Ocala, FL on July 22, 2018. He was born in Pittsburg, PA on December 6, 1926. Arthur was a retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant Veteran of 33 years.
He is predeceased by his loving wife, Lois Lee (Dean) Purdy; his parents, Arthur L. Purdy and Frances (Mahalick) Purdy; two sisters, Elizabeth Purdy and Mary Margret Brady; and a brother, Andrew Louis Purdy.
He is survived by two daughters, Karen Elizabeth and husband, Geary F. Kurtz, Emily Ann and husband, Robert J. Tudor; three grandchildren, Arthur L. Kurtz, Dawn Marie and husband, David Hawkins, Lois Lee and husband, Christopher Light; six great grandchildren, Steven C. Kurtz and wife, Kathy, Emily E. Tudor, Abbey Hawkins, Charles David Hawkins, Kelly and husband, Mark Meade; two great-great-grandchildren, Addyson Maddlynn and Chad A. Tudor and wife, Tamera; three nephews, Mike Brady, Jimmy Brady, and Dennis Brady; one niece, Cathy Brady.
A visitation will take place at Roberts Bruce West Funeral Home 6241 SW SR 200 in Ocala, FL on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 6-8PM. A funeral Mass will take place at Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 8:30AM followed by a graveside service at Florida National Cemetery. To leave condolences:
