Bettye Jean Bright-West, 54, passed away on April 28, 2011. She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving mother, Rosemary McKever, Ocala, FL; daughter, Chiquitarose L. Givins, Ocala, FL; 5 grandchildren, 3 brothers: Frederick G. Edwards, Atlanta, GA, Cedric L. Edwards and Corey McKever, Ocala, FL; aunts, Geraldine Bright Guy, Ocala, FL and Arlene Roberts, Ocala, FL; a host of uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and sorrowing friends. Funeral services for Ms. West will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Bruce Chatman, Pastor and Rev. Dr. Eugene Broxton, Eulogist. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2011 at Cunningham Funeral Home.

It is with great sympathy and sadness that I stumbled upon your daughter and sister's passing on the Internet this evening. It saddens me greatly to hear of her loss. I know what a significant loss it is to loose a sibling and pray that you all are standing fast "TOGETHER" in this loss. Bettye was a wonderful and dear childhood friend, always full of laughter and joy. She will be greatly missed. May God wrap his arms around the family and give comfort in this time of need. Remember weeping may endure for a night but there is joy when the morning comes. My prayers go out to you.
