JEMEL LAMAR, 29
Memorial Day, May 28, 2018, Lance Corporal, Jemel Lamar Samuel, answered his last Marine call to duty and reported to his final destination.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, a loving mother, Janicka Grimsley-Hinds (Jeff Hinds); and a proud father, Kevin Samuel, Sr; brothers, Kevin Samuel, Jr., Dyvonte Samuel, Keyontay Samuel, Errol Hinds, and Natiquez Hinds; grandmother, Bettye Grimsley; aunts, Latrina Grimsley, Mataya Grimsley, Kayla Grimsley, Adrienne Samuel Green, and Yvette Wright; uncles, Kenneth Grimsley, Cecil Grimsley, Jr., Kevin Grimsley, and Caron Samuel.
Public visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 6pm-8pm, Little Chapel UM, 2381 SE 73 St. Ocala, and Friday, June 8, 11 a.m-6p.m, Snow's Funeral Home, 5791 SE 23 Lane, Baseline Rd., flowers and condolences may also be sent to Snow's Funeral Ministry. Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 9, 1:00 pm, New St. John Baptist Church, 2251 NW 2nd St., Ocala. Burial will be on Monday, June 11,at 1:00 p.m. Veterans National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl. O. B. Samuel Funeral Home, 21 SE 10th St, Williston, Fl 352-528-3292, O.B. Samuel, LFD in charge of Services.
