ROBERSON SR,
JOHN E., 73.
Ocala - John E. Roberson, Sr., age 73, passed away on April 1, 2015. He retired from the Army after 23 years of service and two tours of duty in Vietnam as a combat medic. He is also a retired police officer from Berry Hill Police Department in Tennessee.
John was preceded in death by, Elsie Jean Roberson, his beloved wife of 48 years, and his son, Randy Lee Roberson.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Stringer, sons John E. Roberson Jr. (Kim), Carl Roberson (Brenda) and daughter Nadine McAuley (Thomas) and daughter in law June Roberson, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Family will receive their friends at the TimberRidge Chapel of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala on Thursday, April 16th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 in the TimberRidge Chapel at 11:00AM. Burial with full military honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
