FINLEY, MAGGIE M., 94
Orange Springs - Mrs. Maggie M. Finley, 94, of Orange Springs, passed away June 16, 2009 at Hospice's Tuscany House. Born in Barbourville, Kentucky, she came to this area in 1959 from Yancey, KY. She was a homemaker, a member of Orange Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting and cooking for her family. She is survived by her sons, Charles of Sassar, GA, Marvin and George of Orange Springs, Bruce of Lakeland, FL and Lenn of Orange Springs; daughters, Jewell Jackson of Ft. McCoy, Ann Elton of Johnson, FL and Mary Myers of Ft. McCoy; brother, Jess W. Davenport of Florence, KY; sisters, Georgia Stringer of Orange Springs and Marie Asbury of Beaver Dam, KY; 26 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Paris Finley, brothers, John, Denver and Bill Davenport and sister, Kathleen Hensley. Visitation will be held at ROBERTS FUNERAL HOMES, Bruce Chapel East (2739 SE Maricamp Rd. Ocala 732-9944) on Thursday (June 18th) from 6-8 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at Orange Springs Cemetery on Friday (June 19th) at 10AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Marion County.
