NATHAN BARTLETT Obituary

BARTLETT, NATHAN A., 87
Summerfield - Nathan A. Bartlett, 87, a Navy veteran and an Electrical Engineer for Raytheon and Sylvania, died Friday, June 27, 2014.
Born in Presque Isle, Maine in 1927 and having grown up in Massachusetts, he moved to Marion County in 1979 from Kwajalein, Marshall Islands. He was a private pilot, an avid scuba diver, and a published underwater photographer. Nate, along with his wife Pat, discovered a new species of fish, Pseudanthias bartlettorum, while at Kwajalein. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Belleview.
Patricia Bartlett preceded him in death in 2006. Survivors include his brother Ted, Kerrville, TX; daughter Janice O'Brien, Alachua; grandsons Michael, Patrick, and Daniel O'Brien, and two great-grandchildren.

So very sorry to hear about Nate's passing but know he is at peace and no longer in pain. He was a very kind man and will be in my thoughts and prayers. He is now reunited with his bride Pat.
