PATSY WASSON Obituary
Ocala - Pat Wasson, 86, of Ocala, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at Windsor of Ocala. Pat was born in San Angelo, TX and moved to Hobbs, New Mexico at a young age. She always called Hobbs her home. She was a successful realtor in Hobbs and was the owner of Wasson Realty. She and her husband, Ray, were active members of the First United Methodist Church in Hobbs. She and her husband, Ray, moved to Ocala in 1992. After moving to Ocala, she was an active member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and especially enjoyed her involvement with Hope Circle of the United Methodist Women.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Raymond Rance Wasson.
Survivors include brothers, Leon (Joyce) Thompson, Charlie (Louise) Thompson; son, Raymond Rance Wasson II (Marie); daughters, Beth McCall (Wayne) and Jeannie Garcia Waters (Buck); grandchildren, Justin (Kelli) Garcia, Nathan (Erika) Garcia, Diana (Josh) Scroggie, Melody (John) Hardy, Matt (Allison) McCall; nine great grandchildren; many loved nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015, at 3PM, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, located at 800 SE 41st Ave., Ocala, FL 34471. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 800 SE 41st Ave. or Hospice of Marion County 'Tomorrow Fund' 3231 SW 34th Ave., Ocala, FL 34474. So sorry to hear Pat passed away. Pat, Ray and Snickelfritz were our next door neighbors for many years. We were certainly blessed by knowing them.
