Philip Johnson Obituary
Funeral Services for Philip (Flip) Johnson, Jr. age 67 who passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2010 in Ocala. He was born in Gretna, FL on December 6, 1942 to Phillip and Ruth Johnson. He graduated from Hungerford High School in Eatonville and then graduated from Hampton Junior College in Ocala. He joined the US Air Force and served his country for 25 years. He is survived by his wife Celestine (Robinson) Johnson, his daughter Madelyn McFarquhar, his son Dr. Philip Johnson (Patricia) and his grandchildren Carleigh, Zachary, Colin and Philip Cayman. He is also survived by his mother Ruth Johnson and siblings Frankland, LaDonna, James, Gwen, Martha, Glen, Vernon and Robert. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 31st, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 412 Kennedy Blvd, in Eatonville. Interment will be Monday August 2, 2010 in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. at Open Door Missionary Baptist Church 130 N.
