Robert Burton Brombacker

ROBERT BURTON, 80
Ocala - Robert Burton Brombacker, 80, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2016. Robert was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 13, 1935. Robert joined the Navy in 1957 and spent three years with them. He was a graduate of New York State Maritime College, Ft. Schuyler. He married Judith Ann on March 19, 1960. Robert was involved with and in charge of several church committees over the years along with being a chairman for the Zoning Board of Appeals in Livingston county Michigan. After moving to Ocala, Robert got involved with Habitat for Humanity for many years. He loved carpentry, making architectural models that were sold to buyers and boating.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Burton A. Brombacker and Elvera Muller Brombacker.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Judith Ann Brombacker; three children, Barbara L. (John) McInnes, Robert T. Brombacker and Eric P. Brombacker; two grandsons, Justin and Shane McInnes; one step-grandchild, Shellie (Justin) Mathis and three great grandchildren, Payton Mathis, Harper Mathis and Addison McInnes.
A memorial Service will be held at Druid Hills Methodist Church, 1712 SE Lake Weir Ave, Ocala, FL 34471 on June 18, 2016 at 11 am with a graveside service to be held at a later date in Howell, MI at Howell Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Robert's name to Interfaith Emergency Services Inc. 435 NW 2nd St, Ocala, FL 34475 or The Salvation Army 330 N Magnolia Ave Ocala, FL 34475.
