Bob was one of my closest cousins growing up. We lived a few streets away in NJ and two streets away in Miami. We were so proud of him as a physician and loved his humor. We will miss him, but will cherish our memories. Our prayers are with Sherry. Ree

It was with sadness that I learned of Dr Carrs passing; I met him when I was pregnant with my only child and he was his pediatrician until leaving for the ER; even after that he was always available if we needed him, he always said "just call me".
Sherry, I am sorry for your loss, Bob Carr was a wonderful person and a good friend as well as a great doctor.

I was one of those nurses who was able to experience the "old" ER back in the 70's. We all had a good time and got to watch and work with some good Doc's! Dr. Carr was one of my early mentors and I was able to see him this past year in a clinical setting and rehash old times. I was around when you met and married your love Sherry. May God's love embrace you Sherry at this time.

Sherry, I was so sorry to hear that Dr. Carr had passed, He was two of my childrens Pediatrician, I always felt that he was the very best and hated to see him go to the Emergency room, but it was him that saved my baby from losing his hearing when after three weeks of ear infections and I made a third trip to the Emergency room for help and he was on duty. I knew that my son would be alright when I saw him there. May God be with you at this time.

I first met Dr. Carr when I was an OPD rookie. He was an extremely likable person, great personality and would give you the shirt off of his back if you asked. I observed his excellant work as an E.R. doctor
and he often rode along with me on patrol. I, and many others will miss him, he was truelly a good man.

Dr. Carr was one of those people that could have a lasting effect on someones life. I know this personally. Ask anyone who had to pass his Paramedic Certification.

I was saddened to learn of Dr. Carr's death. I worked with him in the Emergency Room, before it became the Emergency Department. With the old black and white tiles, troopers, police and firefighters it was an experience that I will never regret. I learned a lot from him, Dr. Rodriguez and Dr. Siers. They were not afraid to put medicine first and not worry about ruffling feathers. He was a heck of a physician!

My deepest sympathies to Sherry and your family.
Dr. Carr was an extremely talented daylily hybridizer who had an eye for quality. Many of my favorites were created by him. My only regret is that I didn't have the opportunity to meet him.
He is now creating all Stout Medal winners along with Munson, Moldovan, Henry and all the other greats that have passed on.
God Bless!

Robert was my brother-in-law for over 35 years. I always knew him to be a kind and compassionate man. In his medical practice, he always treated his patients with great care and compassion. He had these same traits in his personal life. He was a very loving husband to my sister, Sherry, along with being her best friend. I will miss him greatly.

Dear Sherry,
I was so sorry to learn of the death of Dr. Carr. I knew him in the old days when Hiers Funeral Home ran the ambulance service in the late '60s and early 70's. He was a wonderful man, and a pleasure to work with. May God Bless and keep your family during this time, you will be in our prayers.
