My husband Mike and I are very sorry to read this. We were married almost 15 years ago, and Tom took our wedding pictures which were AMAZING! He was so passsionate about his craft, and giddy about it - he was infectious!! We recommended him to everyone. Today a friend asked about a recommendation and after googling, I found out he had passed. Please accept our deepest sympathies. What a great man!

I knew Tommy for over 50 years. I can say that he was a true friend to anyone that knew him and called him a friend. He was the best at what he did. We lived so close to each other and talked about getting together and bringing each other up to date. I guess we got so busy we or I didn't find the time. For that I am sorry and I consider it a great loss on my part. To his family I send my sympathies for their loss of a great person.

Carol - we are so sorry for your loss. We hope you find comfort in thinking of all the wonderful memories you shared - hunting in the swamp, building the movie room, and Tom packing your lunch everyday so you could even have a snack before the long commute home - it was clear that you two shared a deep love and friendship. We know this isn't easy, but whenever you may feel alone, just remember you have us to count on; give us a ring and we'll be right over! Take care of yourself and your beautiful furry family members.

Carol, I am so sorry to hear about Tom. I had no idea that he was sick. We talked a lot before the Tamale Festival in October, but not since then. He did not mention being ill. I just assumed that he was pretty busy with his video work!
I will always remember and appreciate the visits with Tom in Alabama and with you and Tom at your home and the weddings he let me shoot with him. I learned so much from him in such a short time. We had such good conversations about photography and our younger lives in Greenville, being in the band and Scouting...
May God bless you and his family at this time.
