TODD HOWELL Obituary
Todd Howell, 59, of Ocala, passed away at his home after a long battle with cancer on August 12, 2019 with his family by his side.
He left behind his loving wife and soulmate of 37 years, Doreen Howell; his daughter, Dana Crum; his sons, Dustin Howell and David Howell; his grandchildren, Rylee Crum and Leightyn Crum; Landon Howell and Kinsley Howell. He also leaves behind his sisters, Judy Sapp, Jennie Howell, Jean Guinn (Ricky), Terry Collum (Steve); and his brother, Mike Howell (Jan); as well as his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Gordon Howell; his stepmother, Ruth Howell and his grandson, Kylan Bryce Howell.
Todd was first and foremost a family man; a caring and passionate husband, father and grandfather, as well as a good friend to many. Other than spending time with his family, he enjoyed coaching MCYFL Football and Little League Baseball. He also loved fishing and watching the Gators with Doreen by his side. Todd worked in outside sales for Drillers Service Inc., for 17 years. There was nothing Todd loved more than his family, and they will mourn him deeply and will always cherish their memories of him.
His funeral service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services on Silver Springs Boulevard on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 4:00. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Kindred Hospice or American Cancer Society.

Dear Sweet Todd,
Jennie said it all--your photo is on my dresser and every morning as I get ready for work, I think of you and Mike, and all of the "stories" and have a good guttural laugh to start my day. When I arrive at the office, "Nana Green's" photo greets me from my desk--and my smile continues ;>) We miss you and find comfort in knowing you are in Heaven with your mom and surely you are "cooking up some good eats"!!

Todd, you’ve been gone almost a year and we have all missed you terribly. There have been so many times I needed to ask your advice on something or just wondered what that new business was going in somewhere in town and I’d say...”if Todd were here, he’d know what it was.” You always knew what was happening in the Ocala business community. I miss your laugh...I miss you calling just to check on us to see how we’re doing...I miss going fishing with you...you, Mike and I went one last time in May and you caught more than any of us. I will always treasure that memory. I’m happy knowing that you are there with mama until we can all be reunited again some day. I miss you more than words can say and I love you both with all my heart.

Dear Doreen, Dana, David and Dustin, I am truly sorry for your loss. He was such a wonderful man in so many ways, but it was all of you that made him the happiest and most proud. I hope you find comfort knowing Todd is finally pain free. Please try to find comfort knowing he's in God's loving arms now. My condolences to all of you.
