WILLIAM B.,
William B. Hockensmith departed this life on December 30, 2010 in Ocala, FL. He was in Sales & Marketing in the paper products industry. Mr. Hockensmith was a choir member of Ocala West United Methodist Church and the Spruce Creek Preserve Chorus. He was an active member of the On the Level Masonic Group of Spruce Creek Preserve. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Norma Hockensmith, daughter, Susan Todd-Raque and husband Dr. David Raque of Atlanta, GA, sons Brian Hockensmith of Tampa, FL and Stuart Hockensmith and wife Linda of Carmel, IN; grandchildren Justin, Jennifer, Adam, Carly and Amie. He was predeceased by his son William Hockensmith, Jr. A memorial service will be held at Ocala West United Methodist Church, Ocala, FL Saturday, January 15th, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Keith Hopper officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Nat'l. Parkinson Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Ave., Miami, FL 33136-1494. Condolences may be posted to hiers-baxley.net.

Dear Norma and Family, You and Bill have been interwoven with our lives ever since we became friends 55 years ago, so your loss is our loss as well. We will miss Bill greatly but he will continue to live in our hearts for as long as we are alive.
