ZANDRA WILLIAMS Obituary
Ocala- Zandra Williams, 79, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014.
She was born on April 6, 1935 in Hammond, Indiana to her loving parents William and Ruby Highland. Zandra came to Ocala in 1973 where she started her career in the Marion County School system as a school teacher until retirement. Zandra was a long time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and The Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved traveling, shopping, reading, Disney trips, and spending time with her family. She dearly loved her grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Roger D. Williams.
Zandra is survived by her son, Rod Williams (Elise); daughter in-law, Tina Williams; grandchildren, Robin, Rachel, Austin, and Mindy; brother, Bill Highland (Marilyn).
The family will receive friends at 10AM on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL. Funeral service will follow at 11AM. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at The Windsor of Ocala for their wonderful care.
