Janet Bartels Obituary
Funeral services are 11 a.m., Thursday, March 17, at the River's Edge Christian Church in Waterloo, with Pastor Tim Platt officiating.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein and after 10 a.m., Thursday at the church.
Interment will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein.
Janet Irene Peeper was born June 4, 1943, at Oelwein, the daughter of Vern E. and Gladys (Bennet) Peeper. On June 5, 1961, she was united in marriage to David O. Bartels. He survives her.

Dave & Family,
We will always cherish our memories of Janet and the rest of you. She is greatly missed but we look forward to seeing her again soon. The Lord is so good and He is mindful of our heart's desires. So glad we were all in the same church family. I always enjoyed talking to Janet on Sundays. I liked the many puzzles she has given me. God bless her now as she rests in God's arms. She will be missed very much. Prayers to your family as I know it's hard. In Christian love.
