Eugene LaLonde Obituary

EUGENE LEVI LALONDE Eugene Levi LaLonde left this life on January 22 2025 to be with his son Joe and wife Pat. He missed her so much. Eugene was born in Ausable Michigan on June 4th, 1935. He grew up in many northern Michigan towns as his dad and uncles were loggers. Eugene joined the army at 17 and was deployed to Korea for the end of the Korean War. He worked on the railroad and did house construction for many years. He worked at Ogemaw Heights as the outdoor monitor and custodian, retiring from Rose City School. He was a great hard-working father who did his absolute best for his family. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Always with a beloved beagle by his side. He loved fishing with his best friend Dale Thompson. He was also an amazing archer. He looked forward to his visits from nephews Eddie and Valentina. I'll miss his stories as he had a memory like no other. My friend, my father I miss you so much. Thank you to my brother Tom for being here and all your help. Our Dad appreciated everything, always saying that Tommy, he's a good son. Thank you to his grandson Travis your help was so valuable. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia (Morrison), his son Joesph,his brothers Jackie Lucchesi, Donald LaLonde, Terry Lalonde, and his sister Sandra Morton. Eugene is survived by his children Tom Lalonde, Tammy Howard, and Amy LaLonde, grandchildren Levi LaLonde, Jaclyn Ray, Andrew LaLonde, Travis LaLonde, and Katy Kenniston, also 7 great-grandchildren. As well as many beloved nieces and nephews and His best friend Dale Thompson. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Gene at this time without a ceremony.
