Verda Kinch

VERDA KINCH Verda dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family, a role she cherished above all else. Her love, kindness, and devotion left a lasting impact on all who knew her. A faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch, Verda also found great joy in friendships and community activities, never missing an opportunity to spend time with those she loved. She had many hobbies throughout her life and enjoyed playing cards, weaving baskets, creating porcelain dolls, crocheting, and, in her younger years, fishing and water skiing. Verda is survived by her loving children: Edward "Dean" (Terrye) Kinch of West Branch, Donald (Dawn) Kinch of Alger, Donna Scott of West Branch, and Julie (Mike) Nelson of Cadillac. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Connie (Ralph) Shaw of Rose City, Karie (Rick) Calkins of Standish, Kayla Ruzicka of Alpena, Danielle (David) Stein of West Branch, William (Argelia) Ruzicka of Virginia, Amanda (Dain) Naida of Adrian, Mike Nelson of Cadillac, and Kevin (Sheila) Nelson of Tennessee. Verda was blessed with 18 great-grandchildren: Brittany, Becky, Gavin, Faith, Hannah, Samantha, Joe, Gracie, Darin, Dylan, Parker, Alivia, Adara, Chloe, Laiklynn, Thorin, Dalton, and Noah, as well as 10 great-great-grandchildren She is also survived by her siblings: brothers Eddie, Dick, and Fred, and her sister Diana. Verda was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Edward Kinch; her son, Dennis Kinch; her sisters Theresa, Alice, and Bunny; and her brother Joe. Verda's greatest joy was her family. She took immense pride in watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren growalways offering them her love, guidance, and support. She will be fondly remembered for her warm heart, creative spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
