Adam Hiner Obituary

Adam Michael Hiner, 37, became an angel on Saturday, September 25, 2021. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, friend, kitty dad, gamer, drummer, and an all-around badass. He was dealt a rough hand at life, but was never hesitant to celebrate the accomplishments and life experiences of those around him. Adam never met a stranger. From talking about music and games with friends to Disney movies with his pride and joy of a niece, he had a wealth of knowledge that he bestowed upon everyone he ever encountered. There was nothing in this world he loved more than to be surrounded by those he loved, which was just about everyone. Adam took pride in gaming and streaming and had quite the following on social media. His cooking skills were unparalleled, as he specialized in zucchini patties and jello cookies. He was never one to turn down a party and always showed up in the most festive attire and wrapped his gifts in the best Justin Bieber wrapping paper purchased in bulk at the thrift store. Those who knew Adam know that these are only a short list of characteristics that separate him from every other person in the world. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 2nd from 1 to 3 p.m. at Hennessy Funeral Home, located at 552 N. Main Street, Akron, OH 44310. Please wear casual attire, as Adam would have preferred. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Adam's presence on this Earth will be missed greatly, but his lasting impression will live on in our hearts forever.

Adam was so talented and full of life even when encountering ill health episodes! The world will miss his smile and ability to converse on any subject as he knew lots about many things.

I never met Adam in person but I got to know him well over the last five years on Twitch and social media. One of the last videos that he posted was of a conversation we'd had on Twitch. It hurts that I never got to shake his hand or say goodbye. His heart and personality were so large that it was hard not to consider him friend. Thank you for the years of company and inspiration. Your friend and biggest fan, Darriel aka"Anarchy Is Neato"

A picture is worth a thousand words....and this picture could not have depicted Adam any better. He had a kind, gentle, and giving spirit. He was a creative artist and an amazing drummer, with many musical attributes. Adam always had a smile, an easygoing spirit, and a positive outlook on life, no matter what. Our favorite memory was when Adam watched a documentary on how beef jerky was originally made. He constructed a "beef-jerky" fire-pit in his mom and dad's backyard. The beef jerky was Amazing! Adam loved life, his family, people, and embracing new experiences. Adam was one-of-a kind, and will be missed!

Adam really loved and cared for people and his cats. He will never be forgotten. Our donation to One of a Kind Pet Rescue will hopefully help place many cats in good homes. May he rest in peace.
