Adeline Weiner Obituary
(Kaufman) Weiner
Adeline Mildred Weiner peacefully passed away at home on April 9, 2016 surrounded by family and friends just two months before her 102nd birthday. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Isadore and Lena Kaufman.
Adeline was preceded in death by her husband, Milton R. Weiner; sons, baby Weiner, Ronald Weiner and William Weiner; her sister, Florence Lessing; brothers, Jerome Kaufman and Manual Kaufman. She is survived by sons, Dr. Dennis Weiner (Phyllis), Dr. Richard Weiner and Roger Weiner; brother, Donald Kaufman (Estelle); grandchildren, Matthew Weiner, Scott (Margaret) Weiner, Tracy (Bill) Cotopolis, Brad Weiner, Sherri (Pat) Riley, Romy (Mark) Landskroner, Kris Dean and Tim (Amie) Weiner; she was also blessed with 18 great grandchildren.
Adeline loved to spend her free time at Akron Children's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Surgical Transport Team. She was also a research assistant for Dr. Dennis Weiner's Pediatric Orthopedic Practice for several years. Adeline was a woman of great courage and valor who gave and received unconditional love. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
Memorial services will take place at the Shaw Jewish Community Center on Monday, April 11 at 2 p.m. followed by internment at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will welcome "Shiva" guests on Monday, from 4 to 7 and Tuesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the home of Dennis Weiner, 2460 Brice Rd.
Donations can be made to the Adeline Weiner Orthopedic Research Fund at Akron Children's Hospital for Research into Skeletal Dysplasia c/o Shannon Leslie RN BSN at 330-543-0735.

Adeline was the best!! I loved her dearly!! I will never forget her welcoming me to "Akron "!! When my son Justin was critically ill Adeline came at 4AM to sit with him and carry him to surgery!! She wanted him to see a familiar face!! She was one of the kindest and best person I have ever known!! Rest in peace!! You deserve it!!

Our dear Denny & Phyllis, we were so sorry to hear the passing of Adaline. We loved her. There are many beautiful memories of her that we'll cherish for a lifetime. May she rest in peace. She was a monarch.
