Albert Leiby Obituary

Albert James Leiby Sr.(Papa Al), born July 7, 1938 in Akron, OH, went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family on Nov. 3, 2019. He was born to the late Albert Milton and Victoria (Palazzo) Leiby. He was a proud member of the Local 109 Cement Mason and Plasterers for 45 years and a retired Millwright from General Motors. Preceded in death by first wife, Suzanne (Blake) Leiby; brother, Jimmy Leiby; son-in-law, Tim Bridenthal; and grandson, Michael Bridenthal; he is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Nancy (Larimer) Leiby; his brother, Larry Leiby; sons, Albert Leiby Jr. (Gayla Hullinger), Chris Leiby, Robert Wandling of OH, Gary Wandling (Lynn) of MS; daughters, Valerie Brock, Melissa Bridenthal of OH, and Marjie Platyer (Jaye) of AR. He was the proud grandfather to Chas and Tim Bridenthal, Randall and Zach Leiby, Maggie and Jared Playter, and six great grandchildren. He loved his wife with all his heart. He enjoyed their home on Berlin Lake, where they spent most of their summers boating, dancing, fishing, listening to music by the fire pit and entertaining their friends. There will be a celebration of life at a later date during the Spring sun.
