I am standing on the shore by the sea.
This morning a ship by my side spread her white sails to the morning breeze and started out to the deep blue ocean.
She was an object of beauty and strength. I
stood and watched until at last she hung like a tiny speck of white cloud just where the sun and sky came down to meet each other.
There she is gone, said someone at my side.
Gone ? Gone where?
Gone from my sight - is all.
She is still just as tall from mast to hull and as long from stern to spar as she was when she was at my side.
And just as certain as when the someone at my side said, There, she is gone, there are eyes and voices on a distant shore that take up the shout, Look, here she comes!
And that is death.

When Aunt Alice and Uncle Jim traveled by Berea KY, they always stopped to visit us and stayed the night in their camper. We always enjoyed their visits! Last year when Ryan got married, Aunt Alice was there to celebrate the occasion. We will miss her and how loved she made us feel!

Alice will be missed by all of her many friends at Retirement Residence of Green.
Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day.
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
