Amanda Feathers Obituary
She was born April 21, 1987. She was a devoted church member and the most innocent, loving and caring person you could ever have met. Graduating from Ellet High School in 2006, her goal in life was to make people happy. She would accomplish that every day with her loving smile and joyful personality that touched so many hearts.
Amanda is survived by her grandparents, Frances, Darlene, Marie and Jay; parents, James and April; siblings, Shalee, Danny and Timothy Feathers; nieces, Alyssa and Nyia; nephews, Lil Danny and Timmy; and many others.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Faron Cole officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

When I light a candle for my mom, I will be sure to light one for your precious little girl. I am so sorry you have to go through this pain. God must of needed an angel, because we are not suppose to out live our children. I only met her a couple times, but she was so sweet and friendly.

Amanda was a kind, gentle, and caring individual. It is only obvious that the Lord seen this beautiful soul and needed her by his side. She will never be forgotten. She was a true neighbor, and a good friend. May you be busy doing the Lords work Amanda. This is only your begining. Amanda was an exceptional girl. She could see beauty in any situation, no matter how ugly it was. I always seen her with a genuine smile, especially when she seen Bailey. She loved animals. We will miss your smile. God has a beautiful new Angel.

Amanda was truly an angel here on earth....she will be missed dearly! She was so sweet, loving and giving. She was also an inspiration to everyone who loved her. I have never met anyone who could give so much of themselves and not expect anything in return except for a smile and conversation. She loved to be around people, and never met a stranger....she talked to and loved everyone!! Amanda the neighborhood will never be the same without you....you were always the bright spot!! You will be greatly missed.

Amanda was one of the only shining stars on her street, her laughter and kind spirit made everyone around her smile in return. She loved animals and hated to see them hurt in any way. I know my mother Judy and Brooks will miss her terribly...she was great company and her warmth and compassion touched my mom in a way no one could understand but Amanda..God has recieved yet another beautiful angel.

Amanda was a gentle, kind spirit with a heart for God. She loved being involved & working with the children. She touched the lives of so many always leaving a lasting impression & a wonderful testimony. Her passing came as quite a surprise. She will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.
