Andre Snell Obituary
Andre Snell, 52, made his heavenly transition on Jan. 26, 2009, after many courageous years of battling leukemia.
He was born on March 9, 1956 to Glory Dean and Alto Snell, Jr.
Andre was preceded in death by his mother, Glory Dean Burros; brother, Maurice Snell; niece, Taylis Boyd; and aunt, Winnell Burros. He is survived by brothers, Marc and Elder Lamont (Robin) Snell of Cincinnati; sister, Connie Boyd; and father, Alto Snell, Jr. of Akron; aunts, Beverly (Charles) Yokley of Tennessee, Elaine (Paul) of Cincinnati, Inez Snell; and uncle, Joseph Snell of Akron; cousin, Kathryn Burros-Colwell of Akron; many other Burros and Snell family members, nieces, nephews and friends; special friends, Andre Ferguson, Millicent Brock and Renola Kirksey.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 31 at 3:30 p.m. at Stewart and Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, OH 44307, Bishop Anthony King officiating. Friends may visit the chapel from 2:30 p.m. until time of service. Condolences may be sent to 83 Swartz Rd., Akron, OH 44319.
