Anita Hart Obituary
She was born in Canton and had been a resident of North Canton most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church of North Canton. A graduate of Timken High School in 1948 with special honors in secretarial, she had been an employee of Stark State Tech as secretary to Business Technology. Prior to that, she had been secretary to the Assistant Superintendent of Canton City Schools.
She is survived by her husband, Gerry Hart, with whom she celebrated 49 years of marriage on Oct. 29, 2009; two sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin M. Hart of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Keith and Jeannette Hart of North Canton; daughter, Monica Hart of North Canton; brother, Eugene Mancini of Akron; and sister and brother-in-law, Marlene Mancini and George Frost of Kent; two grandchildren, Keith and Maria Hart.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at St. Paul's Catholic Parish in North Canton, with Rev. Msgr. Jay Clarke as celebrant. Interment will be at Northlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Funeral Home. A special thanks to caregivers, Ruth Delong and Mariam Summers and the staff at Durkin Hill Senior Care. Also to the Hospice caregivers. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

I have many fond memories of Anita her smiling face and warm personality. I can still see her at Nancy and Fuzzie's during the holidays laughing and joking with everyone. A great lady who I will always remember.

I will always remember Anita as the best and smartest secretary in Canton City Schools when I worked there in 1956. We were great friends for all of the years that I worked at the credit union and she at Stark State. I also taught in the business department there, and again, she
was revered and appreciated for her intelligence by all who knew her. She was one of a kind. A dear, sweet, friend to all who knew her. She is resting now. She was a lady of class and dignity - a family first person who cherished her grandchildren. She will be remembered fondly forever in my
