I knew Barbara at Quest. She was an amazing person. I knew something about her background, she described various programs she had been involved in to me, but what I remember the most was her enthusiasm as she talked about them. I miss her very much. All my sympathy to her family and friends.

In a shot time Barbara impressed me with her empathy and warmth at Quest. I thank her for her friendship and will aways remember her.

It was a pleasure to work with her at Quest for the short time she was there. Barbara cheerfully executed all the work requested of her.
She will be missed.

Barbara was my dear friend and colleague for 35 years. I can’t imagine not having her to talk with about anything and everything, be my intellectual sounding board, go on cultural expeditions around New York, and spend Christmases with me and my extended family in New Jersey. Her passing leaves me bereft, but I will never lose the memories of how she enriched my life. This is a bit of the garden she made in the strip of ground next to the B train subway tracks behind her building.

My sincerest condolences to Marianne and Rosemarie for the loss of their sister. Barbara was a very interesting and caring person and is a real loss to society. I did not get to see Barbara often but enjoyed our visits whenever I did.
