Brian Bauer Obituary

Brian Jon Bauer

Brian Jon Bauer, 47, of Akron, passed away at home on April 28, 2003, with his wife and daughters by his side.

Brian was carried home in the arms of the angels who cared and comforted him during his illness. He was a graduate of Garfield High School, and was an em ployee of Chrysler Twinsburg, where he was honored with two awards for his honesty and dedication. Wherever Brian went, his easygoing personality, love of life, laughter, and beautiful smile engaged every one he knew. His love of golf, the beach, and the Yankees will live on in our memories.

Brian leaves behind his wife, Karen (Leahy), where their love for each other shined through to all who knew them; his oldest daugh ter, Misty (Stottler) where, upon first sight, his heart was bound forever; his youngest daughter, Rachel, where, at the mention of her name, his face beamed with pride and love; he was also granted a grandson, Dylan; at the near mention of his name brought a smile, laughter, and amazement; and is also survived by his four brothers, whose relationship he cherished, James Bauer (Sue) of Norton, Thomas Bauer (Patricia) of Cuya hoga Falls, Robert Bauer (Andrea) of Hutchinson Island, Fla., and Joseph Bauer (Denise) of Akron. He will also be deeply missed by the Leahy and Cronin families. Brian left behind dozens of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Margaret Bauer, and lifelong friend, Debbie Stottler.

Calling hours will be held TODAY from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd. Funeral services will be held Friday, 10 a.m., at St. Vincent Catholic Church, 164 W. Market St. Cremation has taken place. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz, 330-724-1281, www.kakfh.com)

Sending my deepest sympathy and love on the loss of your father/husband. Even though I met your father briefly on a few occasions, I felt as though I knew him well. You've shared a lot of fond memories and the smile on your face when you'd talk about him spoke louder than words. Well, "ANY WHO", my thoughts are with you and your entire family. Love Always, Jodie xoxoxo
