Dear Powelson Family,

I just recently ran across Mr Powelson's obituary, and seeing his photo brought back many, many fond childhood memories!

Mamie, who seemed to have endless energy being the mother of active children, Bruce playing the piano, and envying Pam while she skated!

You probably don't remember me, but I remember all of you there at the corner of Penthley! We were all the neighborhood gang, living at a time when you didn't worry about locking doors, kids could stay outside in the summer until the street lights came on, and everyone knew everyone! What a great time to grow up!

I remember marveling at how he was able to get around so well, and WALKED TO WORK!

Please accept my sincere condolences. May God give you peace and comfort.

Warmest regards and a big hug to each of you!

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you during this time of sorrow. You probably do not remember who I am, but I will never forget Bruce,Pam and Mamie. I skated at the Akron Rollercade and was childhood friends with Pam. I can remember Mamie making pizza with perfect shaped tiny balls of meat on top and think of those times often.Bruce was the greatest organist and a kind and gentle man.He will remain in my heart forever and will pray for all of you to be strong and have faith in God to get you thru your loss.

We love you all and wish we could be there in person, but we are there in spirit.
