Carter Pace Obituary
Carter Lee Pace, aka Flukie, age 62, was promoted into heaven May 21, 2016, after a courageous battle with health issues.
A free spirit, born in Opelika, Ala., he graduated from South High School in 1971.
Flukie enjoyed life, playing cards, nice clothes, Cadillacs, and was a true people person. He was employed by Barefoot Sole and at Kent State as a janitor.
Preceded in death by his parents, Lula Pearl Snell and Virgil Jackson Sr., he is survived by daughters, Carteria, Marquetta, and Carlotta; sons, Cameo and Damon; sister, Cynthia (Norman); brothers, Claude, William and Clark.
Friends may call at 12 p.m. (noon) until 1 p.m., with services to immediately follow on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd., Akron, OH 44320. Condolences may be sent to 1238 Dover Ave., Akron, OH 44320.
