Charles Fitzsimmons Obituary
Charles Patrick Fitzsimmons, 75, of Minerva passed away on Dec. 27. Born in Akron he was the son of the late Charles A. and Zora Fitzsimmons. A brilliant man, Charles had earned a Masters Degree in Physics from the University of Akron. He taught in the Akron Public Schools for over 30 years before retiring.
His survivors include his sister, Patricia Lamb; nieces, Stacey (Vince) Rager, and Leanne Gregg; nephew, Robert Lamb; great nephew, Brett Lamb; and great niece, Sabrena Rager.
Private family services have already taken place.

Mr. Fitzsimmons was such a wonderful person and teacher! I loved his science class and still think about all of the interesting things we learned. I only just learned of his passing having moved away from Ohio years ago. Sending all of my best wishes.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Fitzsimmons' passing -- I also had him as a teacher at Simon Perkins Junior High School. He was a good teacher and a nice man. My condolences to his family.

RIP/ Mr. Fitzsimmons was my teacher at Perkins Jr High School. Some classmates and I were remembering him not long ago. We are now in our mid 60's. A great Man.
