My deepest sympathy for the loss of Fred. He was a very loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. I knew him for many years growing up and attending school with Carolyn. May God Bless you and watch over you during these times.

Dear Betty and Family,
Troy and I were broken-hearted when we heard about Freds passing. He was such a wonderful man, always with a smile on his face and a hearty laugh.
He was like another grandfather to me during camping season at the UFC; passing out gum and a big bear hug (always telling me I reminded him of Betty Grable). I smile when I think of him walking Fritzi and always stopping to chat with my parents.
When Fred worked at McNeil, he knew and worked with my husbands father, Tom Rankin, and so Troy has fond memories of Fred too.
Each of our three children each have their "stepping stools" that Fred made when each was born. They have always been special and now they will now be treasured with memories of Fred.
Fred is what every man should strive to be like. We will miss him.
Love and blessings.

Our prayers and blessed thoughts are with the Grim Family at this time of remembrance and need. I met "CHARLIE GRIM" while we both were employed at McNeil/Akron and the first word our of Charlie's mouth was "what's up Bud."
Fred was a W.W.II Veteran and worked at McNeil/Akron and retired from AlKar,Inc. But most of all he was well liked and a friend to all that knew him and we were Buddies.
In Blessed Love,
Tom and Martha Karr

Fred was a very special person to all who knew and loved him. Children will always remember him as the man who gave them a big hug and bubble gum. He will be missed by all who knew him. Joanne, Glenn and Rodgie Griffin
