Although I only met him at the office where I work Mr. Higgins was a very special person. He would always take time out to talk and laugh. Just having him come in to our office would be the highlight of my day and something to look forward to. He was always friendly and humorous. Being a neighborhood resident - you could always see him out and about with his flag flying on his car. He will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to his family.

Fred and MaryGrace,
So sorry to hear about your father.I liked to stop and talk with him over the past years. His memory was a great help to me while working the family tree and he helped me finish it and with out him I dont know if I could have completed it. My daughter Valerie enjoyed talking to him also. I will miss her saying when we go by his house, hey Dad lets stop and see Uncle Roger. He was a great man.

Roger was our "Uncle Roger-Dodger". There are so many wonderul memories of him; water skiing, building things, playing the organ and a model train city that took up one side of the basement. His long stride which made it difficult for any kid to keep up. He was resepected for his integrity, honesty and kindness.
How fortunate I was to be part of his life.
Deepest sympathy to Mary Grace/Fred and their families.
