McKean

WARREN Charles Edwin McKean, 69, died April 20, 2003, at the Cleveland Clinic, following a four-month illness.

He was born Jan. 18, 1934, in Sandy Lake, Pa., to parents, Henry Frederick McKean and Sarah A. Davis. He was a mill operator for Van Huffel Tube Corp. for 32 years until 1982. He then was a mill operator for Vanex Tube from 1982 until retirement in 1996. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958, attaining the rank of staff sergeant.

He is survived by his wife, Cloan na (Gum) McKean, whom he married in 1958; sons, Charles (Melanie) of Akron, Ohio, Daniel (Lisa) of Mission Viejo, Calif., and James (Donna) of Champion Township; grandchildren, Ethan, Emma, Dylan, and Nathan; sisters, Jennie Staup of Utica, Pa., Margaret McKean of Warren, Ohio, Edith Cra go of St. Louis, Mo., Letha McCor mick of North Tonowanda, N.Y.; and brother, Andrew McKean of Warren, Ohio.

Visitation will be held at Robert H. Roberts-Clark Memorial Home TODAY from 5 to 8 p.m. Services will be held Thursday, April 24, 2003, at 11 a.m., at Robert H. Roberts-Clark Memorial Home in Warren, Ohio. Entombment at Mea dowbrook Memorial Park Mausoleum in Champion. Contributions may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, c/o Office of De velopment, P.O. Box 931517, Cleveland, Ohio 44193-1655.
