Charles "Ray" Raymond Ward

Ray Ward of Everett, WA passed away on February 20, 2004 after an extended illness in Tacoma, WA.
Ray was born to Charles Bailey and Jennie Kerr Bailey on July 24, 1938 in Everett, WA. He attended school in Everett. After high school Ray joined the navy and served for four honorable years. After being discharged from the navy he became an electrician spending 30 years as a journeyman electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union until his retirement in 1998.
Ray belonged to the Elks of Everett, WA and Anchorage, AK, the Eagles of Everett and Anchorage, AMVETS of Everett, VFW of Everett, and the NRA.
He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Mary and Kevin Mott of Lake Stevens; his stepmother Ione Ward of Burlington, WA; sister Virginia Davidson of Sequim, WA; and three grandchildren, Cristina Mott of Montana, and Kyler and Cameron Mott of Lake Stevens.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 28th at the Bayview Cemetery on Whidbey Island.
Arrangements are under the guidance of Visser Funeral Home, Langley, WA.
