Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire O'Connor family through this most diffcult time. We know Cheryl as being a very special kind loving person that always had a smile on her face. From the fun special times at all Jason & Jill's parties or being at the boys softball games you could always expect to see Cheryl and Joe present. At the softball games Cheryl sitting with the rest of the family and friends on the sideline cheering them along and Joe at third base coaching. It was always such a great remembrance of what a wonderful family they truly have and how proud I'm sure Cheryl was of that. The softball games and parties will never be the same not having her present, however we have the beautiful memories we will carry with us always. So may God give you all the strength to embrace and hold the fondest memories you have close to your hearts to help ease your pain through this time. Cheryl you will be truly missed by all.

To the O'Connor family:
I was sorry to read of Cheryl's passing. I hadn't heard from her for a while and was shocked to see the news. I worked with Cheryl in Community Services at SCCS and always enjoyed her smiling face. She was the queen of e-mails and I enjoyed hearing from her even after I left there. May God comfort you all in your loss.

When I am gone, release me let me go
I have so many things to see and do
You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears
Be happy that we had so many years
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave to me in happiness
I thank you for the love you have shown
But now it’s time I traveled alone
So grieve a while for me if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
It’s only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories within your heart
I won’t be far away. For life goes on
So if you need me call and I will come
Though you can’t see or touch me I’ll be there
And if you listen with your heart you’ll hear
All of my love around you soft and clear
And then when you must come this way alone
I’ll greet you with a smile and welcome you home ~ (Author unknown)
How this verse reminded me of Cheryl and the message I know she would share. Such a wonderful woman, wife, mother and friend

To the family of Cheryl O'Connor,
It was with deep regret that I learned of the passing of Cheryl O'Connor
I realize that the death of a friend and family member is an irreparable loss to you. Those we love left us with gifts in the form of memories that no one can take away. They gave us wisdom that we can still recall, companionship when we were alone, comfort when we needed it.
May the tender mercy that God has always shown me be with your family now so that you will know that you are not alone, and may the prayers of other help in some small way to bring you strength, comfort and courage each day.
Many words will be expressed, yet we know God can express and provide to you and your family everything that is needed to care and sustain your hearts. Isaiah 46:1, but since the loss to you is most direct and personal. I wanted to send you these words of sincere sympathy upon the death of a loyal friend and trusted family member. My prayers will be with you and your family.

I remember Cheryl at all the family gatherings involving Tim, Veronica, Madison, Kennedy and family as well as at wrestling matches for Michelle's son. She was so family focused! She and Joe had it all and they knew it, their kids knew it, we all knew it. She knew what she believed and she lived it. Cheryl was God's gift to her husband, family and the world. I pray that her family and friends feel God's grace while going through this difficult time.
