If there was ever a woman who made a difference in peoples lives, Mrs. Kutuchief was it. I am now a rising College Senior at Fisk University. But Mrs. Kutuchief was apart of who I am today. She was so kind, also had high expectations for me! I remember her saying once, "Brandy one day I want to read about your success story in the Newspaper" AS a political Science major, I am trying my best to live up to success. The main thing, is Mrs. Kutuchief touched so many especially my life

I can't really cry, because I feel she is ok!!! God Bless

So very sorry to read about your loss. Tammy and I loved seeing your smiling faces in a booth at Fishers after a big walk or bike ride. I remember Chris telling me she started her career at Buchtel the year I graduated. So much fun to connect. Looked at my year book again. "Take out your clerical books girls" a phrase under her name and photo in the 1973 edition of the Griffins. Please know we are thinking of you.

Mrs. Kutuchief was the most sweetest, kindness, loyal, outgoing, and smartest woman I ever known. There aren't enough words in this whole world to decribe her. She was perfect. She still is. She kept me in school and pushed me to finish and get my diploma to start my life. She helped out all students who needed it. Even just to talk to. she would listen. My deepest sympathy goes out to all her family and friends. Mrs. Kutuchief believed in everyone. She brought the good out in everyone. She helped me and always said I would go far with my writing and poetry. She was always right. Mrs. Kutuchief, I will miss you and I look to seeing you in heaven. You are in our all hearts. Thank you for always caring and being right there for all of us.

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Kutuchief. Mrs. K as we called her, was my guidance counselor at Perkins Middle School 6th and 7th grade. She was incredibaly nice, and she really helped her students. I loved her dearly, and I will truly miss her. Although I have been from Perkins for 6 years now, I will never forget all the wonderful teachers, and counselors, and friends I made there. Mrs. K was one she was very special. to the family stay strong, and I will continue to pray for you.

Dear John, Kyle, Carson, and Pam,

I pray that the kind words and recorded memories of those who were touched so vividly by your wife, mother and sister help to sustain you and give you peace in the days to come. While there will forever be a void too large to ever fill without Chris in our lives here on earth, her serene nature and gentleness will continue to inspire me. No matter what trials and troubles my children have endured, Chris always focused on the positive attributes and talents of each, and as such, was able to instill confidence and offer wisdom in the most effective way. She was a gifted guidance counselor, a benefit that reached to her extended family as well. My family's lives were so enriched by her, that I can only thank God for the precious too few years we had with her. Your loss is enormous, and my prayer is that some of your burden may be absorbed by those friends and family that love you so much, those who know what a wonderful mother, wife, counselor, friend, sister, and aunt she was.

Chris Kutuchief was a wonderful counselor and colleague who touched many children's lives. I have wonderful memories from when she and I were at Perkins Middle School. She started the SAS (Student Assistance Services) Team and Peer Mediation. I was fortunate to work with her and help many students who just needed a smile or greeting to know someone cared. She helped put children on the right track academically, behaviorally, or helped them in need when there was no one else to turn to. Chris will be greatly missed. God bless.

I would like to start by saying that I have such tremendous respect for Chris Kutuchief. Chris, along with her immediate and extended family, have always been and will always be, a family to me. They have been there for me countless times, and now it is my turn to offer my support to a family who has lost such a wonderful woman. I will never forget the person that Chris was, and the way she always made it a point to seek me out and talk to me about my life, my goals, my ideas....Everytime I had a conversation with Chris, whether it was at a Fourth of July picnic or just a family gathering, I always left wishing I could talk with her all night. She had such a sincere desire to help others through whatever it was that was bothering them, small or large. Nothing was unimportant or too insignificant to talk to her about. She was one of those people that even if you shared a small part of you with, you knew that she understood what you were going through and she truly cared about helping you through it. There are few people with a spirit like Chris's, and I only wish I could have spent more time with her. I know that God has a plan for everyone, and he needed her to be with him. I hope that she will look down and see the great admiration that I have always had for her, even if I was never given the chance to express it to her. My heart goes out to "Uncle"John, Kyle and Carson, along with the rest of their family. I love you and I will never forget Chris, and how lucky I was to have known her.

Dear Mr. Kutuchief,

I just want to thankyou for updating North High School where I attend about what happen during this sad event. Ms. Kutuchief was my counselor, whom took may occasions to encourage me to do better in school and took the time to add more classes to my schedule to help me get ready for college. She was always there to encourage me when an obstacle came my way. I also want to say that anyone who may read this should take a moment to pray for the family of Ms. Kutuchief, because they need it at this time.

One last word:

Ms. Kutuchief,

I will miss you. It will be strange walking across the stage with my diploma without you shaking my hand, but I know you'll be watching me from above. Hope to see you some day! But until then, Good-bye!

Chris Kutuchief was a powerfully positive person. She helped others find their path and purpose, often by the immense force of her own dynamic will and clarity. She impacted untold numbers of students, co-workers and friends. I am grateful to have known her.

For all that Mrs. Kutuchief has done for me, at least i could sign this book. You will be GREATLY missed in my life and lives of others. You were like another mother to me, leading me, and always believing in me. Its hard to walk down the halls without you saying Hello to me in the morning and going to the office and not seeing you at your desk with a smile. Its really going to be weird at graduation without an awesome speech that you give each and every year. Thanks for everything and helping me through all of the bad times, when i knew for a fact I could ALWAYS turn to you for help or advice. I know your in a better place now, but you will never be forgotten.

We all love and miss you. I guess it is Gods turn to help you and your family! See you later~on the other side ;-)

My heart goes out to the family/friends of Mrs. Kutuchief. She was such a wonderful person! I remember her from being a student at FHS, Mr. Kutuchief allowed me to go help his wife out at Findley, which is where I first met her. I was so happy to leave school once a week for 2-hours to go assist her with things. I met a wonderful woman who was always smiling, pleasant, and the children adored her! I remember how important it was for her to make sure we didn't forget a birthday. She always made sure every child in that school had a birthday card from her! I remember thinking how wonderful those kids had it there with her being there, as I dont remember ever getting that much attention in grade school. Children would make a special trip to her office to tell her about their weekend. She was such a beautiful woman insde and out. I know you all are suffering a tremendous loss. Even before I heard of her passing, I told people about how wonderful she was. I am grateful for the opportunity to have met her. So, thank you Mr. Kutuchief. I will always remember her, as she is an unforgetable person. My heart goes out to all of you.
