Theresa M. Kirby

Theresa M. Kirby, age 65, of Marshallville, went home to the Lord on Monday, March 23, 2026.
Born on August 17, 1960, in Akron, Ohio, Terry was the daughter of the late Jerry and Connie Davis. She graduated from Akron East High School, then went back to school at the age of 35 to pursue a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron. After 8 years as a full-time working mom and student, she reached her goal and became a nurse, furthering her passion for helping others, patients and family alike. She spent her career working at Summa Akron City Hospital with her 5 West family.
She dedicated her time to her family, stepping in to help wherever and whenever she could. She took immense pride in her role as "Grammy" to her beloved grandchildren, Aubrey and Zane, who she helped to care for alongside her teammate, Darrell. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and treasured her kindness, humor, and devotion to her loved ones.
Terry is survived by her loving daughter, Allison (Jason) Kufchak; her devoted life partner and best friend, Darrell Spradlin; her siblings Monte (Nahed) Davis, Peggy (Patrick) McDowell, Joe (Kristen) Davis, Michael (Erica) Davis, and Eileen (Andrew Young) Herrlinger; her cherished grandchildren, Aubrey and Zane Kufchak; Sarah Sisson; Debbie (Ron) Luzzo, Carolyn Conley; as well as many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. Terry was a dedicated aunt who would do anything for her nieces and nephews, who lovingly called her Auntie Theresa, T (Pain), or Ter-Bear. She is also survived by her beloved pet Rocky, her favorite lap dog and napping buddy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Davis and Jim Davis.
Each year, Terry looked forward to seeing a robin as the first sign of spring. Now her family will hold her memory dear as we look for those first robins, knowing brighter days are ahead.

Friends may call on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Auble-Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street, Wadsworth, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Services will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, at Auble-Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street, Wadsworth, with Pastor Kevin O'Brien officiating. Burial will take place at the Rose Hill Burial Park-Akron.
