June Maxine Davis

June Maxine Davis, daughter of Oscar, and Lucy Nicodemus was born May 14, 1923. She grew up in Wadsworth, Ohio and later graduated from Kent State University with a degree in teaching. June also loved music and sang most of her life starting as soloist at Grace Lutheran Church in Wadsworth, Old Stone Church in Cleveland, June sang on WGAR Radio, and performed recitals and oratorios at the Medina Fortnightly Music Club, and while attending the Cleveland Institute of Music. June was married to Richard Alan Davis on August 25th 1957 and they bought a farm where she had horses and Richard had many farm restoration projects to go along with painting pictures. June and Richard also started a family with their son Paul, who was born in 1960. June grew up the youngest of 10 brothers and sisters. June loved cars and was a very fast driver. She always owned a convertible with a large engine. June passed peacefully from our world on February 16th, 2026.

June is preceded in death by her husband Richard. June is survived by Son, Paul, Wife Jennifer, Granddaughter Haley, Granddaughter Emileigh, relatives: Doug Zeffer and Wife Julia, Justin Zeffer, Benjamin Zeffer, Kirk and Jill Sheets, Chris and Brenda Sheets.
