Sandra Lee Beaver

Sandra Lee Beaver, age 85, of Wadsworth, died Monday, March 2, 2026, at The Inn at CoalRidge in Wadsworth, following a period of declining health.

Sandra was born on September 25, 1940, in Wadsworth, to the late Vernon and Eunice (Burger) Weckbacher and graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1958. She married John Edward "Jack" Beaver on March 16, 1962, in Wadsworth. John died on October 22, 2013.

A lifelong resident of Wadsworth Ohio, Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She found her greatest joy in caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home where simple traditions became cherished memories. Through these everyday moments, she built a lasting legacy of faith, joy, and togetherness.

Sandra was known for her gentle spirit, her handwritten letters, her nurturing presence, and her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.

She worked for 14 years at Barefoot Sole in Wadsworth. In addition to raising her own children, she lovingly cared for many others in her home as a childcare provider for 26 years, extending her influence and compassion well beyond her own family.

She is survived by her son, James (Michelle); her daughter, Jamie (Stephen); her grandchildren, David, Joshua, Jordan, and Kelsey (Frank); her great-grandchildren, Ciara, Collin, Isaiah, and Lev; and four siblings, James Weckbacher, Linda Fernald, Vernon (Kim) Weckbacher, and Jacquie (John) Schwarz.

Her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband, Jack and her son, Jon, and is now standing in the presence of her Savior. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Auble-Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street, Wadsworth, with Pastor Seth Amerine officiating. Burial of cremated remains will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
