Beth Hevener Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Auble-Gillman Funeral Home - Rittman on Feb. 18, 2026.
Beth Lynn Hevener, 61, of Wadsworth, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 15, 2026 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born August 31, 1964 in Wadsworth, Ohio, Beth was the beloved daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Lesho) Ulichney. A proud graduate of Wadsworth High School, she carried her strong sense of community and lifelong friendships with her throughout the years.

Beth dedicated the early years of her life to her work as a cosmetologist, where she not only practiced her craft, but also formed lasting connections with those who sat in her chair. In later years, she embraced a variety of professional roles, always bringing warmth, diligence, and a caring spirit to all she did before eventually retiring.

She found great joy in life's simple pleasures. Beth loved cooking and gathering her family together - whether for holidays, summer cookouts, or any occasion that offered time spent laughing and making memories. She enjoyed traveling, especially to warm tropical destinations, and was an avid fan of Jon Bon Jovi. She treasured meaningful conversation shared over a good cup of tea and, in her later days, felt a deepened connection to nature and a renewed appreciation for the quiet beauty of everyday moments.

Beth will be remembered for the love she so freely shared with her family and friends, the bravery and courage she had throughout life's obstacles, and most importantly, for always being a great mom.

Surviving are daughter, Karissa (Jared) Williams; son, Tyler Hevener; grandson, Drake Williams, brothers James "Jim" Ulichney and Neil Ulichney; numerous nieces and nephews; partner Jim Davis; and special friend, Louise Snyder.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; son, Nicholas James Hevener, and sister, Christine Schondel.

Private memorial services for immediate family will be held at Auble-Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street, Wadsworth, Ohio.

In memory of Beth, donations may be made to PANCAN to help with Pancreatic Cancer research.
