Larry Ray Marks

Larry Ray Marks, age 71, of Brook Park, formerly of Rittman, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at his residence following a period of declining health.

Larry was born April 12, 1954, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, to the late Ronald and Rosalie (Meadows) Marks. He graduated from Rittman High School in 1972 and later married Donna Napier, who preceded him in death at a young age.

He is survived by his significant other of 30 years, Cindy Hall of Brook Park; five grandchildren who lovingly knew him as "PaPa": Rowan, Gavin, Hayley, Peyton, and Alexandra; and his faithful feline companion, Smokey the Cat.

Larry spent many years working as an IT Specialist for DecisionOne in Cleveland, where he was known for his technical knowledge and dedication to his work.

In his free time, Larry enjoyed tackling projects around his backyard, often finding satisfaction in fixing or improving things with his own hands. He was an avid fan of football at all levels and, in his younger years, enjoyed bowling. Many fond memories were created in his time spent vacationing in Punta Cana.

Larry will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and friends, and for the quiet joy he found in life's simple pleasures.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Rittman Cemetery, 14300 Decourcey Road, Rittman, with Pastor Sarah Kok officiating.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held at Teamz Restaurant, 6611 Eastland Rd, Middleburg Heights, on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 5 pm to 9 pm.
