Cole Shipton Obituary

Cole Andrew Shipton

4/20/2000 to 4/06/2018

Vangy and Lisa Marie Tonies and Jeffery and Rebecca Shipton are sad to share the news of the passing of their son, Cole Andrew on the 6th of April. He will be missed by his brothers, Alex and Christopher; sisters, Acacia and Taylor; in addition to so many other friends and family; we couldn't possibly list them all.

Cole was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and currently a resident of Bath, Ohio. Cole was a senior at Revere High School, where he participated in lacrosse and football. Cole enjoyed working part time at Ken Stewart's Lodge. Cole also loved being a member of Grace Church. Cole was preparing to begin his U.S. Marine Corps career this upcoming Fall.

Cole loved everyone he met; he had an infectious smile and a generous heart. Cole always greeted the people in his life with a warm hug. He had a beautiful soul that matched his beautiful blue eyes. He touched so many lives with his thoughtful ways.

May Cole always be remembered with the light that shined within him.

Calling hours will be held TONIGHT, April 12, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Grace Church Bath Extension, 565 S Cleveland Massillon Rd., Fairlawn, Ohio 44333, where a short service will be held at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the account of Cole Shipton at: gofundme.com.

happiness is confidence. Happiness is self-worth. Happiness is accepting and loving yourself even when other people don't. The world is never going to be good enough they will never be able to meet your needs or wants. They will let you down. Be self reliant. Be strong and courageous. Love and accept yourself for who you are. Know you are loved and you are wanted. You are special and you are beautiful. you will and have been greatly missed. your one year anniversary is coming up my friend. its about 2 weeks out and i already cant stop thinking about you. rest in peace and let your beauty live on your spirit will always be with us... miss you sharkbait

My heart aches thinking about your loss. I wish I had known Cole personally - my son Garrett played football with him and describes him as always smiling and making others laugh. As a parent, I can't find the words to express how sorry I am and how much I have thought of your family the past several days. Praying for comfort and peace today and in the days ahead.
