Curtis Hawkins Obituary
Hawkins
Mr. Curtis Duane Hawkins was born to Harriet Helen Hawkins on July 27th, 1956 in Akron, Ohio. He grew up as the eldest of four children and was the Valedictorian of South High School Class of '74. After graduating high school, he attended Kent State University where he studied engineering and had the opportunity to study in Haiti.
On Wednesday, March 14th, 2018, Curtis went home to be with the Lord at the age of 61.
Curtis leaves to cherish his loving memory, son, Curtis Aron (Tiffany); grandchildren, Curtis Aron, Caylyn Aron and Chloe Aron; siblings, Kenneth E. Hawkins and Ericka D. Burney-Hawkins; uncle, Donald D. Hawkins (Ann) and a host of other friends and relatives. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Harriet Hawkins; sister, Gwendolyn Hawkins and long-time companion, Karla Harris.
Services were held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church, with Min. Eddie Dancy officiating.
