Daniel Blake Obituary
Daniel L. Blake, 58, of Akron, passed away July 11, 2005.
Dan worked as a machinist until 1994, and was a U.S. Army Vietnam vet eran. He en joyed working with youth baseball, bowling, and helping his children re store muscle cars.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert, and brother, Harold. He is survived by his wife, Susan; son, Matthew; daughter, Cory and her boyfriend, Mike Sturgill; mother, Leona Blake; sisters, Donna Smith, Bertha (George) Crosier, Charlotte (Chuck) LaBelle, and Barbara (Jack) Smith, all of Ak ron; brother, Dale (Pat) Blake of Nevada; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2005, at Adams Mason Memo rial Chapel, 791 E. Market, Akron. Calling hours from 12 noon to the time of service. Crema tion to follow services, with interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

I had the honor of working with Dan at Pizza Hut for almost two years. I was blessed to have been able to spend that time with him and I am richer for having known him. He will be deeply missed.
