Best all-day quarterback ever. Football in the street on Hillwood in the 70's. Telephone pole to telephone pole. Darrell was so generous with his time and tolerance of us "kids." So many great memories.

The first time I met Darrell I knew we would be friends for life I saw Darrell 11 years ago he came to my mothers house to see me after 30 years I lived in germany he ask me to come play basketball for us old dudes when growing up we were very good friends he was a class act a truly good person, man I am truly sadden he is gone he loved life I will miss you and I loved this man God watch over my friend

My friend Darrell Meadows. A super guy and friend who showed me how to swing a golf club. He gave me my first club, a seven iron. The only round of golf I ever played was with Darrell, nine holes. My sympathy to the Meadows family.

We graduated together along with me being the caregiver of his grandson JJ. He really loved that boy his face lit up everytime we talked about him usually at acme while he was working.
