David Davis Obituary
David L. Davis, age 74, of Hartville, passed away Saturday, June 9th, 2018 at home surrounded by his family following a courageous battle with cancer. Dave was born April 14th, 1944 to the late William and Edith Davis. He graduated from Lake High School in 1962 and then served in the Air Force for the following four years. He returned to Hartville and became a lifelong resident where he married his wife of 49 years, Susan (Wynns) Davis. After 30 years of dedication with UPS, Dave retired and spent his days doing the things he loved most. He was not only a devoted family man, but he enjoyed being outdoors as well. Camping trips, boating and fishing were just a few of his favorites.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his brother William "Bill" Davis Jr.; and sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and F. Paul Tennis.
In addition to his wife; Dave is survived by his son, Richard Davis; daughter, Kerilyn Hilson; grandchildren, Richelle Hilson, Kaylee Hilson, Abigail Davis, Gregory Davis and Mitchel Davis; great-grandson, Colton Lake; sister-in-law, Linda A. Mihalus; and many nieces and nephews.
Per his wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the Mark R. Vrabel Funeral Home, North Canton, Ohio 330-452-4041.

I'm sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I worked with him at UPS and always enjoyed his easygoing demeanor, and I could always count on him to laugh at my stupid jokes. May God's peace be with his family.
