Dave was one of the first residents that I met when I was briefly working at The Courtyards at Berne Village a few years ago. He soon became one of my favorites. Dave would sometimes come and "hang out" outside my office. He would worry about me if I didn't get to the office by a certain time. When the temperatures were cool enough, I would normally find a handful of Hershey's miniature chocolates waiting for me, with your Dad and a big, ole grin. God Bless you all.

Dear Uehlein family,
I had the pleasure of spending time with Mr. Uehlein on several occasions while he resided at Berne Village. I am the Social Worker for the Blind and I tried to find some things for him to make his life a little easier. He was a very kind man who loved his Cleveland teams. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

David and Family,
So very sorry about your loss but always remember your parents' love will always be in your heart. That love will never die. Hold on to the loving memories as well because some day those memories will help bring a smile to your face again.
