Delbert Glenn Parsons
Delbert Glenn Parsons, age 56, of Green, joined his loving wife Sharon in Heaven, on August 29, 2014.
He was born in Akron on February 26, 1958 to Wanda and Vonnie Parsons. Delbert graduated from Green High School in 1977, and was employed with Akron Central Engraving Mold and Machine for 30 years. Delb was deeply devoted to caring for Ma. He loved motorcycling, gardening and would fix anything for anyone. He also shared Sharry's passion for animals.
Preceded in death by his father, Vonnie and his brother, Joel, he is survived by his mother, Wanda; brothers, John (Cynda) and Dave (Karen); sisters, Janis (Terry) McCracken and Melessa (William) Williams; stepdaughter, Tressa (William) Jordan; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 and Cleveland Ave.), with Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger officiating. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until service time. Private burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

Family-in-law, I was so sorry to hear about Delb, never a more kind-hearted man. His presence will be missed by everyone who knew him. You are a great family and it has been my privilege to be a part of & to know you all, so I know you will have each other to turn to in the following days and weeks.. still know my love and prayers are with you all.
